HAYES TOWNSHIP September 18, 2023 UNAPPROVED MINUTES Supervisor Jones called the General Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Hayes Township Hall, 2055 E. Townline Lake Road. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present – Supervisor Jones, Trustee Buckley, Trustee Teall, Treasurer Rood Member absent - Clerk Hoyt Motion Rood/Buckley to approve agenda. All Ayes, motion carried. Public Comment on agenda (The Hayes Township Board allows 3 minutes per person for public comment) Community Reports  County Commissioner  Clare County Road Commissioner  City Manager Motion Teall/Rood to approve September 11, 2023 General Board Meeting minutes with correction. All Ayes, motion carried. Motion Rood/Teall to approve consent agenda  Bills paid prior  Treasurer report All Ayes, motion carried. Motion Teall/Rood to approve fence quote from Elm Creek in the amount of $7,987.16. All Ayes, motion carried. Motion Teall/Buckley to approve Property Cleanout Michigan LLC proposal for blight cleanup at 4386 E. Oakman Rd. in the amount of $11,100.00. Roll call vote: Jones – aye, Buckley – aye, Teall – aye, Rood – aye. Motion carried. Motion to approve Snowplowing bid for 3 seasons was postponed until more information is received. Motion to approve/disapprove lot split request from Paul Husted, parcel #007-210-077-00 was postponed until more information is received. Motion Teall/Rood to approve Freedom Utility Placement bi in the amount of $9,900 for directional boring for camera system. Roll call vote: Jones – aye, Buckley – aye, Teall – aye, Rood – aye. Motion carried. Public Comment – questions were taken and answered. Motion Jones/Teall to adjourn. All ayes, motion carried.
