HAYES TOWNSHIP October 10, 2023 UNAPPROVED MINUTES Supervisor Jones called the Special Meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. at the Hayes Township Hall, 2055 E. Townline Lake Road. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present – Supervisor Jones, Trustee Buckley, Trustee Teall, and Clerk Hoyt Member absent – Treasurer Rood Motion Teall/Hoyt to approve agenda. All Ayes, motion carried. Public Comment on agenda (The Hayes Township Board allows 3 minutes per person for public comment) New Business Motion Teall/Buckley to open public hearing for Arnold Lake Special Assessment. All Ayes, motion carried. Public Comment opened at 10:03 a.m. Only a phone call comment was received, and the person was not protesting the SAD. Motion Teall/Buckley to close public hearing. All Ayes, motion carried. Public hearing closed at 10:04 a.m. Motion Teall/Hoyt to resumes special board meeting. All Ayes, motion carried. Special board meeting resumed at 10:05 a.m. Motion Hoyt/Buckley to adopt Resolution 23-03 Hayes Township Special Assessment District. Roll call vote: Jones – nay, Buckley- aye, Teal-aye, Hoyt-aye. Resolution 23-03 is adopted. Public Comment – questions were taken and answered. Motion Jones/Teall to adjourn. All ayes, motion carried.
