HAYES TOWNSHIP October 20, 2023 UNAPPROVED MINUTES Supervisor Jones called the Special Meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. at the Hayes Township Hall, 2055 E. Townline Lake Road. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present – Supervisor Jones, Trustee Buckley, Trustee Teall, Treasurer Rood, and Clerk Hoyt Motion Teall/Rood to approve agenda. All Ayes, motion carried. Public Comment on agenda (The Hayes Township Board allows 3 minutes per person for public comment) Motion Rood/Teall to adopt Resolution 23-05 Resolution to Authorize Purchase of Property. Discussion of benefits of purchasing property was held, including discussion on electric to be installed at the building and heating of the building. Roll call vote: Jones – aye, Buckley – aye, Teall – aye, Rood – aye, Hoyt – aye. Resolution 23-05 is adopted. . Public Comment Motion Jones/Teall to adjourn. All ayes, motion carried.
