HAYES TOWNSHIP March 11, 2025 UNAPPROVED MINUTES Supervisor Powell called the General Meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. at the Hayes Township Hall, 2055 E. Townline Lake Road. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present – Supervisor Powell, Treasurer Cavanaugh, Trustee Buckley, Trustee McKay, Members absent - Clerk Hoyt Motion Cavanaugh/McKay to approve the agenda. All Ayes, motion carried. Public Comment on agenda (The Hayes Township Board allows 3 minutes per person for public comment) Community Reports • County Commissioner • Harrison High School Motion Buckley/Cavanaugh to approve February 25, 2025, General Board meeting minutes. All Ayes, motion carried. Motion Cavanaugh/Buckley to approve the bills to be paid. Ayes, motion carried. Department Reports • Supervisor • Treasurer • Trustees New Business Motion Powell/Cavanaugh to submit cancellation letter to TextMyGov. All ayes, motion carried Motion Cavanaugh/McKay to approve Clerk Hoyt to attend MAMC training day April 9 in Mt Pleasant, registration $50, Travel $45. All ayes, motion carried. Motion McKay/Buckley to approve the hosting Community Support Nights and appoint Treasurer Cavanaugh as contact person. All ayes, motion carried.
