(Gravel will be placed in pile adjacent to work area; to be disposed of by city or regraded at a later date.) Memorial company will be removing memorial stones, and reset stones once pavers have been installed. 2. Installation of a Decomposed Granite based will be laid as a 2-4 inch sub-base and compacted with a plate compactor. 3. A one inch layer of mason/ bedding sand will be screened on top of Decomposed Granite. 4. A Gator Base will be layed as a leveling agent and weed barrier. 5. Pavers will be installed in a running bond pattern with a border. (See Attached photo for a border example) 6. Silica Sand will be applied between the joints as a paver set and will prevent weeds where used. Customer Requested to be able to change out pavers for any new inscripted bricks in the future so we will leave an area around currently inscripted pavers and it will be top dressed with regular masonry sand. 7. Future Maintenance: Borders and Areas where masonry sand is used may periodically need to be sprayed with a weed killer such as round up or a Vinegar solution. Client says that Boulder in Middle doesnt need to move and can have pavers installed around it. Boulder may be higher in grade than the new grade of pavers; additional equipment and labor fees would be needed if the boulder needs to be reset or moved. Time Frame: Estimated about a Week for total installation. Excluding weekends, Holidays, and Weather Permitting. Delays in Materials may extend project out an extra day or two.
