STATED TOWN BOARD MEETING SEPTEMBER 3, 2019 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead. New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. Roll was called: PRESENT: LAURA A. LONGOBARDI, Second Deputy Comptroller Supervisor Gillen asked Councilwoman Goosby to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Supervisor Gillen pointed out that the month of September is "Pediatric Cancer Awareness" month. In recognition of Pediatric Cancer Awareness month gold ribbons have been placed on lampposts throughout the Town of Hempstead, in addition, our Town Clock, will be illuminated in gold to bring awareness to this very important cause.
