170 CITY OF HENDERSON – RECORD BOOK Record of Minutes of A Work Session Meeting on October 19, 2021 A Work Session of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Henderson, Kentucky, was held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, in the third floor Assembly Room located in the Municipal Center, 222 First Street, Henderson, Kentucky. There were present Mayor Steve Austin presiding: PRESENT: Commissioner Robert N. Pruitt Commissioner Bradley S. Staton Commissioner Rodney Thomas Commissioner Austin P. Vowels CITY STAFF MEMBERS included: William L. “Buzzy” Newman, Jr., City Manager; Dawn Kelsey, City Attorney; Maree Collins, City Clerk; Donna Stinnett, Community Relations Manager/Public Information Officer; Robert Gunter, Finance Director; Mrs. Connie Galloway, Human Resources Director; Heath Cox, Police Chief; Scott Foreman, Fire Chief; Trace Stevens, Parks, Recreation and Cemetery Director; Brian Williams, Public Works Director; Tim Clayton, Gas System Director; Ray Nix, Code Administrator; Jordan Webb, Emergency Communications Director; Dylan Ward, Project Manager; Sam Lingerfelt, Safety & Training Coordinator; Bill Raleigh, IT Support Specialist; Victor Carson, IT Network Administrator; and Russell Stoner, Police Officer ALSO PRESENT: Tom Williams, HWU General Manager; Brian Bishop, Planning Commission Executive Director; Jennifer Marks, Planning Commission Assistant Executive Director; and Kevin Patton, The Gleaner (via Zoom) THE FOLLOWING AGENDA ITEM WAS DISCUSSED:  Discussion and Prioritization of upcoming Issues/Capital Improvement Projects  Mr. William L. “Buzzy” Newman, Jr., City Manager, detailed the list of projects indicating that items A through E are already committed to with funding and/or staff. It was determined that the Commissioners would return the completed forms to the City Manager’s office before next Tuesday, October 26th. NO FORMAL ACTION WAS TAKEN BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS. ________________________ MEETING ADJOURN: MOTION by Commissioner Staton, seconded by Commissioner Thomas to adjourn. The vote was called.
