REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
Wednesday, December 13, 2017
The Blue Ribbon Commission meeting was not called to order due to lack of a
quorum, and therefore, the meeting was not held.

Excellence and Youth Opportunity regular meeting of December 13, 2017 has been cancelled.

NOTICE
Notice to persons with special needs: For those requiring special assistance or

Approve Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly for keynote speaker on

Update on status of donations for giveaway bags and prize donations. Staff will
provide a form letter for Commissioners to hand out to businesses when
requesting donations.

Leadership Day. Divide Commissioners into groups to lead each workshop.

Introduction of Chief Watson to the Blue Ribbon Commission and identify the
respective roles of both the Police Chief and The Blue Ribbon Commission
within the Henderson Community.

Each year the Blue Ribbon Commission visits an area business for the purpose
of learning its business practices, mission, vision, and goals.
