CITY OF HENDERSON CITY COUNCIL MINUTES COMMITTEE MEETING Tuesday, August 1, 2017 I. CALL TO ORDER Mayor March called the Committee Meeting to order at 5:52 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 240 Water Street, Henderson, Nevada 89015. Mayor March announced this meeting is being video recorded and streamed live to the Internet. II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL The City Clerk confirmed the Committee Meeting had been noticed in compliance with the Open Meeting Law by posting the Agenda three working days prior to the meeting at City Hall, the Multigenerational Center, the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, Fire Station No. 86, the Nevada Public Notice Website, the City of Henderson Website, and by mailing a copy of the Agenda to everyone appearing thereon on the Agenda Master Mailing List. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON, NEVADA, TO AMEND TITLE 19 – HENDERSON DEVELOPMENT CODE - BY AMENDING PORTIONS OF SECTION 19.4.5 – PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY (PUD) AND SUBSECTION 19.6.4.D – REZONINGS TO MP OR PUD OVERLAY, OF THE HENDERSON MUNICIPAL CODE; TO MAKE VARIOUS CORRECTIONS, REVISIONS AND UPDATES AS NECESSARY. Josh Reid, City Attorney, presented a summary of this item, and reviewed changes outlined in the backup material. Mayor March suggested staff conduct outreach to developers and those in the community who have properties in PUDs. Ms. Garcia-Vause noted staff can do outreach to those who are impacted by these changes. She noted that staff will take an inventory of projects still covered by a PUD.
