CA-6 AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT GREEN VALLEY STREETSCAPES PHASE 2 MULLER CONSTRUCTION FUNDING SOURCE: PARKS AND RECREATION MAINTENANCE FUNDS CMTS NO. 19626 PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND RECREATION For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Award to Muller Construction Award Contract No. 19626, Green Valley Streetscapes Phase 2, to CMMCM LLC, dba Muller Construction, in the amount of $79,970.31, for construction of landscape, irrigation, and rock in the median islands along Green Valley Parkway between Windmill Parkway and Warm Springs Road; approve the total project budget in the amount of $90,370.31; authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute the contract; and authorize the Director of Public Works, Parks and Recreation or his designee to execute change orders within the project budget. FUNDING SOURCE: WATER FUNDS CMTS NO. 20008 DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Award to MMC, Inc. Award Contract No. PWP-CL-2017-210, WTP VFD and Fluoride Feed Replacement Project, to MMC, Inc., for the removal and replacement of the variable frequency drives (VFDs) on the two (2) 600 HP Finished Water Pumps with two (2) new VFD systems, the removal and replacement of the existing fluoride feed system, the removal and replacement of the electrical building HVAC system located at the Water Treatment Plant, installation of the fill line double containment system, rehabilitation of the containment area, installation of the chemical feed system, installation of site electrical (signal and power) systems, commissioning and testing of the foregoing, and related items of work as shown on the plans, and related items of work as shown in the special provisions, in the amount of $1,963,236.00; approve the construction budget of $2,043,236.00; and authorize the Director of Department of Utility Services and/or her designee to execute associated change orders within the approved construction budget. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Consulting Services Agreement between the City of Henderson and Marnell Properties, LLC, for a proposed site analysis and other professional services in connection with the City's targeted marketing and potential sale of approximately 55 acres of real property identified as APN 191-03-310-015, generally located south of the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Executive Airport Drive (the “Property”), to a to-be-determined entity or entities for the purpose of economic development, with a term of six months, providing for compensation to Marnell equal to the greater of three percent of the sales price of the Property, or portion thereof, or three percent of the appraised value of the Property, which was recently determined by appraisal to be $12,100,000.00, or portion thereof, providing that such compensation shall be due only with respect to that portion of the property that is sold or leased during the term, and authorizing the City Manager and City Attorney, or their respective designees, to extend the term for up to an additional six months. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Research and Library Subscription Agreement between the City of Henderson and West Publishing Corporation, for a three-year term commencing August 1, 2017, and continuing through July 31, 2020, in the amount of $115,525.65. CA-11 CONTRACT WONDERWARE SOFTWARE PRODUCTS AND SERVICE SUPPORT STANDARD AUTOMATION & CONTROL LP, DBA WONDERWARE WEST FUNDING SOURCE: WATER AND WASTEWATER FUNDS CMTS NO. 19994 DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Contract for Wonderware Software Products and Service Support between the City of Henderson and Standard Automation & Control, LP, dba Wonderware West for the purchase of additional Wonderware Historian software licenses and related, prorated support services, in the amount of $55,052.43; approve $48,065.50 for annual support services for existing Wonderware licenses for FY18; and authorize an estimated annual expenditure of up to $65,000.00 for Wonderware software support services for each renewal period through FY20.
