RECOMMENDATION: Approve Consulting Services Agreement with ECONorthwest for an analysis of economic, fiscal, and quality of life benefits of transit vs. road investments including a capacity building program to increase public sector expertise in evaluating economic impacts of development projects for the Southern Nevada Strong Grant program effective February 5, 2013, through October 31, 2013, in the amount of $60,010.00. RECOMMENDATION: Accept U.S. Department of Health and Human Services 2013 Grant from the Nevada Housing Division for the Low-Income Weatherization Assistance (LIHEA) Program in the amount of $27,876.00, to assist five low-income households located in the City of Henderson. RECOMMENDATION: Accept and Approve Grant award from the State of Nevada, Office of the Attorney General, 2012 Violence Against Women Act for the City of Henderson Police Department to continue its domestic violence advocacy program in the amount of $45,000.00 requiring matching funds from the City of Henderson in the amount of $15,000.00 for the City of Henderson Police Department to continue its domestic violence advocacy program and approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Henderson Police Department, Boulder City Police Department, Mesquite Police Department, S.A.F.E. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Community Projects Fund Disbursement Request from Councilwoman Schroder to the American Legion Department of Nevada for the Boys State program to help offset transportation costs from Henderson to Reno, in the amount of $500.00. CA-16 COMMUNITY PROJECTS FUND DISBURSEMENT REQUEST AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY UNIT #40 APPLICANT: COUNCILWOMAN GERRI SCHRODER For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Community Projects Fund Disbursement Request from Councilwoman Schroder to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #40 for the American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program to help offset the cost of lodging, food and supplies for the participants, in the amount of $500.00. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Community Projects Fund Disbursement Request from Councilwoman Schroder to be used for utilities at Living Grace Home where expectant teen mothers reside, in the amount of $1,000.00.
