I. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Hafen called the Redevelopment Agency Meeting to order at
5:33 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 240 Water Street,
Henderson, Nevada 89015.
II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL
The Secretary confirmed the Redevelopment Agency Meeting had been noticed
in compliance with the Open Meeting Law by posting the Agenda three working
days prior to the meeting at City Hall, the Multigenerational Center, the
Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, Fire Station No. 86, the Nevada Public
Notice Website, the City of Henderson Website, and by mailing a copy of the
Agenda to everyone appearing thereon on the Agenda Master Mailing List.

Member Sam Bateman moved to adopt the City of Henderson Redevelopment
Agency Meeting Minutes of August 18, 2015.
The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Sam Bateman,
Andy Hafen, Debra March, John F. Marz, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting
nay: None. Those absent: None. Those abstaining: None. Chairman Hafen
declared the motion carried.
RDA-2 PUBLIC HEARING
SALE OF APPROXIMATELY 121,561 SQUARE FEET, MORE OR LESS,
OF VACANT LAND AND IMPROVED GRADE LEVEL PARKING LOT,
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SOUTH WATER
STREET AND VICTORY ROAD
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT/REDEVELOPMENT
Public hearing to receive comments on the City of Henderson Redevelopment
Agency’s intent to sell approximately 121,561 square feet, more or less, of
vacant land and improved grade level parking lot, identified as a portion of
Assessor’s Parcel Number, 179-18-218-001, generally located at the southwest
corner of S. Water Street and Victory Road, to Joseph M. DeSimone, for
$850,927.00.
Mayor Hafen opened the public hearing at 5:34 p.m., asking if there was anyone
present wishing to speak for or against this item.

Anthony Molloy, Business Development Supervisor, presented a summary of
this item and said the recommendation is to accept any public comment on the
proposed sale of the property.
There being no one wishing to speak, the public hearing was closed at
5:35 p.m.

Member Debra March moved to accept public comments on the City of
Henderson Redevelopment Agency’s intent to sell approximately 121,561
square feet, more or less, of vacant land and improved grade level parking lot,
identified as a portion of Assessor’s Parcel Number, 179-18-218-001, generally
located at the southwest corner of S. Water Street and Victory Road, to
Joseph M. DeSimone, for $850,927.00.
The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Sam Bateman,

Agency, Clark County, Nevada, for the sale of approximately 121,561 square
feet, more or less, of vacant land and improved grade-level parking lot,
identified as a portion of Assessor’s Parcel Number 179-18-218-001 generally
located at the southwest corner of South Water Street and Victory Road, to
Joseph M. DeSimone for $850,927.00, and authorization for the Executive
Director to execute and deliver all documents to be executed and delivered by
the Agency thereunder.

130 Copper Street, to AKTO, LLC, for $16,500.00.
Mayor Hafen opened the public hearing at 5:36 p.m., asking if there was anyone
present wishing to speak for or against this item.
