Tuesday, September 20, 2016
I. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Hafen called the Redevelopment Agency Meeting to order at
5:37 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 240 Water Street,
Henderson, Nevada 89015.
Chairman Hafen announced this meeting is being video recorded and streamed
live to the Web.
II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL
The Secretary confirmed the Redevelopment Agency Meeting had been noticed
in compliance with the Open Meeting Law by posting the Agenda three working
days prior to the meeting at City Hall, the Multigenerational Center, the Whitney
Ranch Recreation Center, Fire Station No. 86, the Nevada Public Notice
Website, the City of Henderson Website, and by mailing a copy of the Agenda
to everyone appearing thereon on the Agenda Master Mailing List.

Chairman Andy Hafen moved to accept the agenda.
The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Andy Hafen,
John F. Marz, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None. Those absent:
Sam Bateman and Debra March. Those abstaining: None. Chairman Hafen
declared the motion carried.

Member Gerri Schroder moved to adopt the Minutes of the August 16, 2016,
City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency Meeting.
The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Andy Hafen,
John F. Marz, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None. Those absent:
Sam Bateman and Debra March. Those abstaining: None. Chairman Hafen
declared the motion carried.
RDA-2 FOURTH QUARTER FISCAL YEAR 2016 FINANCIAL UPDATE
REDEVELOPMENT
Financial report for the Cornerstone, Downtown, Eastside, Tuscany, Lakemoor
Canyon redevelopment areas and the administration thereof as of June 30,
2016.
Mark Hobaica, Redevelopment Manager, presented a summary of this item.
(Motion)
Chairman Andy Hafen moved to accept the fourth quarter Fiscal Year 2016
Financial Update Report.
The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Andy Hafen,
John F. Marz, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None. Those absent:
Sam Bateman and Debra March. Those abstaining: None. Chairman Hafen
declared the motion carried.

RDA-3 FISCAL YEAR 2016 CARRYOVER OF UNSPENT APPROPRIATIONS TO
FISCAL YEAR 2017
FUNDING SOURCE: VARIOUS FUNDS
REDEVELOPMENT
Carryover of unspent Fiscal Year 2016 appropriations to Fiscal year 2017.
Mark Hobaica, Redevelopment Manager, presented a summary of this item.

Member Gerri Schroder moved to approve carryover of unspent Fiscal Year
2016 appropriations to Fiscal year 2017.
The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Sam Bateman,
Andy Hafen, John F. Marz, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None.
Those absent: Debra March. Those abstaining: None. Chairman Hafen
declared the motion carried.

There were no Chairman\Member comments presented.
VI. PUBLIC COMMENT
There were no public comments presented.
VII. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Redevelopment Agency,
Chairman Hafen, in concurrence with the Redevelopment Agency, adjourned
the Redevelopment Agency Meeting at 5:40 p.m.

NOTICE

interpreter or services necessary for effective communication for qualified persons with
disabilities should be made as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours before the
scheduled meeting. Listening devices are available for persons with hearing impairments.

The Chairman reserves the right to hear agenda items out of order, combine two or more
agenda items for consideration, remove an item from the agenda, or delay discussion
relating to an item on the agenda at any time.
Public comment will be taken on each agenda item as it is heard. If you desire to provide
public comment on an agenda item, please complete a green speaker card and submit it to
the RDA Secretary prior to the item being heard. Individuals speaking on an item will be
limited to three (3) minutes and spokespersons for a group will be limited to ten (10) minutes.
