CITY OF HENDERSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING November 3, 2015 I. CALL TO ORDER Vice Chairman Schroder called the Redevelopment Agency Special Meeting to order at 5:35 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 240 Water Street, Henderson, Nevada 89015. II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL The Secretary confirmed the Redevelopment Agency Special Meeting had been noticed in compliance with the Open Meeting Law by posting the Agenda three working days prior to the meeting at City Hall, the Multigenerational Center, the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center, Fire Station No. 86, the Nevada Public Notice Website, the City of Henderson Website, and by mailing a copy of the Agenda to everyone appearing thereon on the Agenda Master Mailing List. Present: Gerri Schroder, Vice Chairman Sam Bateman, Member John F. Marz, Member Absent: Andy Hafen, Chairman (excused) Debra March, Member (excused) Officers: Robert Murnane, Executive Director Josh Reid, General Counsel Sabrina Mercadante, Secretary Absent: None Staff: Richard Derrick, Chief Financial Officer Robert Herr, Director of Public Works, Parks & Recreation Stephanie Garcia-Vause, Community Dev. and Services Director Tedie Jackson, Council and Commission Services Reporter Amber Ellis, Deputy City Clerk Vice Chairman Schroder announced that this meeting is being video recorded and streamed live to the Web. The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Sam Bateman, John F. Marz, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None. Those absent: Andy Hafen and Debra March. Those abstaining: None. Vice Chairman Schroder declared the motion carried. IV. ITEMS OF BUSINESS RDA-1 RESOLUTION TAX INCREMENT REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2015 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT/REDEVELOPMENT Robert Murnane, Executive Director, introduced and read Resolution No. 99 by title: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA, APPROVING THE FINAL TERMS OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, NEVADA, TAX INCREMENT REFUNDING BONDS (DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT AREA), SERIES 2015, AND THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF DOCUMENTS RELATING THERETO. Michelle Romero, Redevelopment Manager, presented a summary of this item. She thanked staff for their hard work drafting this resolution. (Motion) Member Sam Bateman moved to adopt Resolution No. 99. The roll call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Sam Bateman, John F. Marz, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None. Those absent: Andy Hafen and Debra March. Those abstaining: None. Vice Chairman Schroder declared the motion carried. V. CHAIRMAN\MEMBER COMMENTS There were no Chairman\Member comments presented. VI. PUBLIC COMMENT There were no public comments presented.
