I. CALL TO ORDER
xMayor called the Regular Meeting to order at xStartTime, in the City Council
Chambers, City Hall, 240 Water Street, Henderson, Nevada 89015.
II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL
The City Clerk confirmed the Regular Meeting had been noticed in compliance
with the Open Meeting Law by posting the Agenda three working days prior to
the meeting at City Hall, the Multigenerational Center, the Whitney Ranch
Recreation Center, Fire Station No. 86, the Nevada Public Notice Website, the
City of Henderson Website, and by mailing a copy of the Agenda to everyone
appearing thereon on the Agenda Master Mailing List.

PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND RECREATION
Brittany Markarian, Senior Public Engagement Specialist, will conduct a
presentation on the status of Henderson Strong, the City of Henderson's latest
comprehensive plan.

ELECTION CANDIDATES

Discuss the propriety of the Commission's proposal to host Senior Topics
Forums for 2016 Election Candidates.
4 REACHING OUT TO ORGANIZATIONS TO HOST A SENIOR TOPICS
FORUMS FOR 2016 ELECTION CANDIDATES
PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND RECREATION
Approve
Discuss ways the Commission can influence other organizations to host a
Senior Topics Forums for 2016 primary Election Candidates, and vote on the
details for doing so.
5 INTRODUCTION TO THE NEVADA ALLIANCE FOR RETIRED AMERICANS
PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND RECREATION
Senior Citizens Advisory Commission members, Dan Hyde and Elizabeth
Baldizan, will introduce the commission to the Nevada Alliance for Retired
Americans. The discussion will include a description of the group’s purpose and
service to the community.
6 HENDERSON SENIORS' AUXILIARY
PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND RECREATION
A member of the Henderson Seniors' Auxiliary will give the monthly report.
7 STAFF REPORT
PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND RECREATION
Recreation Services Manager, Corey Clark, will give a staff report and an
update on the City's senior services.

NOTICE
