RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Senior Citizens Advisory Commission Meeting minutes from October 10, 2018. NB-2 PRESENTATION SOUTHERN NEVADA CO-HOUSING, LLC PARKS AND RECREATION Information Only Susan Danielewicz, will be giving a presentation about Southern Nevada Cohousing. Senior Citizens Advisory Commission Page 3 of 5 Wednesday, November 14, 2018 - Agenda NB-3 SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMISSION ROLE AGE-FRIENDY HENDERSON ACTION PLAN-HOUSING PARKS AND RECREATION For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Review and approve template for discussion of senior housing issues. NB-4 SCAC ANNUAL PROGRAM PARKS AND RECREATION Information Only Commission members will discuss the idea of an annual program in Henderson for the 50+ community. NB-5 PRESENTATION HENDERSON SENIORS' AUXILIARY PARKS AND RECREATION Information Only A member of the Henderson Seniors' Auxiliary will give their monthly report on activities of the organization. NB-6 AUTHORIZE ATTENDANCE OR PARTICIPATION IN UPCOMING EVENTS PARKS AND RECREATION For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Commissioners will discuss and approve whether the Commissioners may officially attend or participate in upcoming community programs or events as a representative of this Commission. Senior Citizens Advisory Commission Page 4 of 5 Wednesday, November 14, 2018 - Agenda NB-7 STAFF REPORT PARKS AND RECREATION Information Only Recreation Manager, Corey Clark, will give an update on the Meals on Wheels program and on other senior services provided by the City. NB-8 DISCUSSION CITY STAFF AND COMMISSIONERS PARKS AND RECREATION For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve City staff and Senior Citizens Advisory Commission members will discuss and vote on attendance for the December 12, 2018 meeting. VI. CHAIRMAN\MEMBER COMMENTS The Chairman and Members may speak on any subject under this section of the agenda. Chairman and Members may comment on matters including, without limitation, future agenda items, upcoming meeting dates, and meeting procedures.
