Consideration of Development Code Amendment DCA14-00003 to amending the sign regulations to extend the use of promotional and special event signs (Applicant: City of Hesperia; Affected Area: Citywide). Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council introduce and place on first reading Ordinance No. 2014-08, approving Development Code Amendment DCA14-00003 amending the sign regulations to extend the use of promotional and special event signs for an additional year. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council award a construction contract to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder, Hardy & Harper, Incorporated for the FY 2013-14 Annual Street Improvement and Main Street Bridge Rehabilitation projects in the amount of $2,133,000, approve the design of the project represented by the plans and specifications; authorize the City Manager to execute the contract; and adopt Resolution No. 2014-025 to Amend the Fiscal Year 2013-14 Capital Improvement Program Budget for said projects.
