Award Contract for Roofing Replacement & Repairs and Adopt Joint Resolution 2016-037, HFPD 2016-012, and HWD 2016-013 Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council, the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Fire Protection District, and the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District (Council/Boards) award the construction contract for Roofing Replacement & Repairs to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, R&R Roofing for the bid amount of $388,600; approve a contingency in the amount of $38,400 for a total construction budget of $427,000; approve the design of the project represented by the specifications; authorize the City Manager to execute the contract and that the Council/Boards adopt Joint Resolution 2016-037, HFPD 2016-012, and HWD 2016-013 amending the Fiscal Year 2016-17 Budget by appropriating additional funding to the Roofing Replacement & Repairs Project. Permanent Water Rights Purchase from Carron Abbott Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District authorize the purchase of 12 acre-feet of permanent Base Annual Production water right in the Alto Subarea from Carron Abbott at $4,300 per acre-foot, for a total amount of $51,600; and authorize the City Manager to execute any related documents.
