City Council Meeting

__________________________________________________________________________________ SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES Tuesday, February 2, 2021 The Common Council Meeting was called to order by Mayor Greg Kubarski on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 7:00 PM. All present stood and recited the Pledge of Alliance. Mayor Kubarski asked for affirmation of proper public notice to which City Administrator Adam Sonntag replied, “Yes”. Roll call was taken with Alderpersons Rick Hanke, Garth Hitselberger, Patricia Moen, Darrow Novy, Elizabeth Parish, and Mark Lankey. Thomas Hotek and Randy Seeley were absent. Others in attendance were: City Administrator Adam Sonntag. Motion by Lankey, second by Hanke to enter closed session at 7:02 P.M. to discuss the City Administrator Position Vacancy and Recruitment. Motion carried. Motion by Hanke, seconded by Novy to return to open session at 7:37 P.M. Motion carried. Motion by Moen, seconded by Hitselberger to approve the proposal from Public Administration Associates, LLC for the recruitment and selection of the City Administrator position. Motion carried. Motion by Moen, seconded by Hitselberger to approve a hourly pay increase of $2.00 for the City Clerk and City Treasurer upon the vacancy of the City Administrator position on March 12, 2021. Motion carried. Motion by Hanke, seconded by Novy to adjourn at 7:41 P.M. Motion carried.
