City Council Meeting

__________________________________________________________________________________ COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES SATURDAY, APRIL 10, 2021 The Common Council Meeting was called to order by Mayor Greg Kubarski on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. at Hotel Hillsboro. Mayor Kubarski asked for affirmation of proper public notice to which City Clerk Sheila Schraufnagel replied, “Yes”. Roll call was taken with Alderpersons Rick Hanke, Garth Hitselberger, Thomas Hotek, Mark Lankey, Patricia Moen, Darrow Novy, Elizabeth Parish, and Randy Seeley present. Others in attendance were: City Clerk Sheila Schraufnagel and Chris Swartz with Public Administration Associates, LLC. Motion by Moen, seconded by Hanke to go into closed session Pursuant to 19.85(1)(c) Compensation and Evaluation. Consideration of employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee subject to the jurisdiction or authority of the governing body. Interview, discussion and review in regards to City Administrator applicants. Motion carried. Motion by Hotek, seconded by Hanke to return to open session at 3:05 P.M. Motion carried. Motion by Lankey, seconded by Hanke to adjourn at 3:06 P.M. Motion carried.
