Committee of the Whole Meeting

__________________________________________________________________________________ COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MINUTES TUESDAY, November 8th, 2022 Mayor Greg Kubarski called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order at 7:01 PM on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022. Committee members present at the time the meeting was called to order were Mark Lankey, Rick Hanke, Leanne Beyer, Randy Seeley, Pat Moen, Darrow Novy, and Elizabeth Parish. Tom Hotek was absent. Others present included: City Administrator Josh Finch, Police Chief Patrick Clark, Treasurer Lisa Johnson, Library Director Jackie Pysarenko, and Nicolette Nauman of the HSE. Mayor Kubarski asked if this meeting received proper public notice to which Finch confirmed that the meeting did receive proper notice. Motion by Hanke, second by Beyer, to approve the October 11th, 2022, Committee of a Whole meeting minutes. Motion carried. Safety and Welfare Chief Clark the Police Chief’s Report. Clark noted that there were 147 total calls in the month of October. Clark mentioned that Trick or Treat went well. Lastly Clark mentioned that alternate side parking is now in effect. Improvements and Services Finch presented to the Committee an update regarding the train project. Finch then provided an update on behalf of MSA regarding the Parks Master Plan project and Baraboo River Project. Finance and Personnel The committee reviewed the bills and recommended the bills for Council approval on the next council meeting. Administrator Finch presented his administrator’s report. Finch provided information regarding changes for the Revolving Loan Fund Application which was met with Committee approval.
