CITY OF HORICON PERSONNEL & FINANCE October 15, 2020 The Personnel & Finance Committee met in regular session. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Alderman Frami. Members Present: Frami and Miller. Members Absent: Hady. Public Appearances: None. Motion by Miller, second by Frami, to approve the September 15, 2020 minutes. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Frami, second by Miller, to approve Oak Hill Cemetery’s request for funds in the amount of $7,500. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Miller, second by Frami, to approve Bowmar Appraisal 3-year Assessor contract for 2021-2023 in the amount of $31,000. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Miller, second by Frami, to approve Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk and Driveway apron replacement on Vine Street by Hechimovich Masonry Construction in the amount of $16,210.00. All voting Aye. Motion carried. No action was taken on Disposal of City Property – Street Signs. Motion by Frami, second by Miller, to approve wage rates for Election Officials for the 2020 Presidential election: Chief Inspector - $16.67/hr. Election Officers - $15.00/hr. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Miller, second by Frami, to approve the bills for September 2020 in the amount of $3,494,193.06. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Personnel & Finance’s next meeting will be Monday, November 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. Non-Action Discussion: - Chief Adamson presented option regarding wage study results. - Chief Adamson to retire in 3-6 months. Leverage prospect of wage adjustment into retirement.
