City of Horicon PERSONNEL & FINANCE January 15, 2024 The Personnel & Finance Committee met in regular session with Chairperson Frami presiding. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Members Present: Frami, Bandsma, and Schmitz. Members Absent: None. Public Appearances: None. Motion by Bandsma, second by Schmitz, to approve the December 18, 2023 minutes. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Bandsma, second by Schmitz, to approve Building/Occupancy/Zoning permit fees effective February 1, 2024. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Bandsma, second by Schmitz, to approve the draft 2024 Wage Ordinances as presented. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Bandsma, second by Schmitz, to approve Taser purchase in the amount of $36,398.40 with the overbudgeted amount of $861.40 to come from the Contingency Fund. All voting Aye. Motion carried. Discussion regarding funding for joint broadcast with the Horicon School District on WBEV with the City to fund $1,000 of the $4,000 annual cost. Personnel & Finance’s next meeting will be Monday, February 19, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. Motion by Frami, second by Bandsma, to adjourn into closed session for the purpose of considering leasing lands per WI. Stats. 19.85(1)(e).
