CITY OF JAMESTOWN
CITY COUNCIL BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
JULY 18, 2024
The budget meeting was called to order by Mayor Heinrich at 4:00 P.M.
Members Present: Mayor Heinrich, Council Members Kamlitz, Schloegel, Steele and Toso,
Assistant City Attorney Geroux, and City Administrator Hellekson.
Staff Present: Blackmore, Blinsky, Edinger, Laber, Reuther, Stroh and Sveum.
City Administrator Hellekson presented version 3 of the preliminary general fund budget with
the changes requested by the Council. Police Chief Edinger and Deputy Auditor Sveum provided
information. Mayor Heinrich directed staff to make additional recommended budget reductions
that could be presented to the Council at the next budget meeting.
The next City Council Budget Committee meeting is Monday, July 22, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. in City
Hall.
Council Member Toso moved to adjourn at 4:35 P.M. Seconded by Council Member Steele.
Unanimous aye vote. Carried.
