MAY 24, 2022

PRESENT: Jackson, Sloan, Wetrich, Zmolek
ABSENT: Ahrenholtz
Mayor Pro Tem Zmolek presided.
No citizens spoke during Open Forum.
On motion by Jackson, second by Sloan, the Council approved the following consent agenda: May
10, 2022 Council Minutes, Cigarette Permits for July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023, approval to
adjust sewer charges of $295.56 at 603 N. Wilson Street, Jefferson Matters:Main Street dba Bell
Tower Festival, Class C Liquor License and Firework Permit for Wild Rose Casino & Hotel for
July 4 to July 5, 2022.

This was the time and place for the Public Hearing on FY 2021-2022 Budget Amendments. Mayor
Pro Tem Zmolek called for oral or written comments and there were none. On motion by Wetrich,
second by Sloan, the Council closed the Public Hearing.

RESOLUTION NO. 31-22
On motion by Jackson, second by Wetrich, the Council approved Resolution No. 31-22, a
resolution adopting FY 2021-2022 Budget Amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 32-22
On motion by Sloan, and second by Wetrich, the Council approved Resolution No. 32-22, a
resolution approving purchase agreement for property at 307 North Wilson Ave.

RESOLUTION NO. 33-22
On motion by Sloan, and second by Jackson, the Council approved Resolution No. 33-22, a
resolution approving bad debt write off for 2005 utilities.

On motion by Wetrich, second by Jackson, the Council approved appointments of Adam Pedersen
and Tom Yepsen to the Library Board beginning July 1, 2022 for a 6 year term.

RESOLUTION NO. 34-22
On motion by Jackson, and second by Sloan, the Council approved Resolution No. 34-22, a
resolution approving Airport State Funding Application for a grant of funds to cover a portion of
the cost in the amount of $980,000.00 for the hangar foundation, hangar approach and fuel system
improvements.

On motion by Sloan, second by Wetrich, the Council approved to purchase a Jacobsen GP400
greens mower for $37,495 from TurfWerks.

On motion by Wetrich, second by Jackson, the Council approved to purchase a John Deere Z970R
mower with the CARES ACT funds for $13,700.00 from Van-Wall Equipment, Inc.

There being no further business the Council agreed to adjourn at 5:43 p.m.
