COUNCIL CHAMBERS
JUNE 28, 2022-8:30 A.M.
Roll call was answered by: Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe, Chairman Jim Dazey, and Board Member Don Gura.
Others present were: Scott Mosley, Sherri Knisely, Lance Waters, Steve Garbacz- KPC News, Chad McKinley,
Jeremy McKinley, Cindy Marple, Scott Derby, and Jamey Lancia.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all in attendance.
Minutes
Board Member Don Gura made a motion to approve the Board of Works minutes from the June 14, 2022 meeting
with a second from Mayor Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Petitions
No petitions or comments were given.
Engineering
Board Member Don Gura made a motion to accept the Noble Creek Bond and Completion Agreement with a
second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Noble Creek Section 1- Infrastructure Acceptance
Board Member Don Gura made a motion to accept the Noble Creek Section 1 infrastructure improvements with a
second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Drake Road Phase 1 PE- Invoice # 38
Administrative Engineer Scott Derby requested authorization to pay invoice 38 to A&Z Engineering in the
amount of $4,837.68 (Federal $3,870.14 & Local $967.54). Board Member Don Gura made a motion to approve
with a second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Drake Road Phase 1- Construction Inspection Contract Approval
Administrative Engineer Scott Derby presented the Drake Road Phase 1 Construction Inspection Contract to
review. Board Member Don Gura made a motion to approve the contract with a second from Mayor SuzAnne
Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Fire
Request to pay McQueen Emergency
Fire Chief Jeremy McKinley requested authorization to pay invoice W01517 to McQueen in the amount of
$3,051.67. Board Member Don Gura made a motion to approve with a second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe.
The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Wage Adjustment- Kintz
Fire Chief Jeremy McKinley requested authorization to give Firefighter Casey Kintz a wage adjustment of
$500.00 annually. Casey has successfully completed his second six-month evaluation. Board Member Don Gura
made a motion to approve with a second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
Wage Adjustment- Marks
Fire Chief Jeremy McKinley requested authorization to give Firefighter Connor Marks a wage adjustment of
$500.00 annually. Connor has successfully completed his first six-month evaluation. Board Member Don Gura
made a motion to approve with a second from Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe. The motion passed 2 ayes – 0 nays.
WWTP
The May Finance Report was presented for review.
Water
The May Revenue & Expense Report was presented for review.
Motion to Adjourn
Board Member Don Gura made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Chairman Jim Dazey adjourned the meeting at
8:47 A.M.
