COMMON COUNCIL COUNCIL CHAMBERS-CITY HALL OCTOBER 6, 2020 -7:00 P.M. The Common Council of the City of Kendallville met in regular session Tuesday October 6, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. Roll call was answered by: Mayor SuzAnne Handshoe, Council Member Regan Ford, Council Member Corey Boese, Council Member Jim Dazey, Attorney Doug Atz, Council Member Steven Clouse via telephone, Council Member Amy Ballard. MY AC Member Kyle Blackbum was absent. Others present were: Andy Barrand- KPC News, Lance Waters, Katie Ritchie, Brad Graden, Jim Pankop, Ron Stanley, Todd & Sheryl Hanes, Jeremy McKinley, and Terry Longsworth. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all in attendance. MINUTES/ MEETING Minutes from the September 15, 2020 Common Council meeting were presented for review. Council Member Jim Dazey made a motion to approve with a second from Council Member Amy Ballard. The motion passed 5 ayes - 0 nays. PETITIONS OR COMMENTS No petitions or comments were given. FIRE August Report was presented for review. PARK September 14, 2020 Park minutes were presented for review. OLD BUSINESS General Ordinance #1220/ Crematory-1st Reading Council Member Jim Dazey requested the 151 reading of G.O #1220/ Crematory in title only. Attorney Doug Atz read G.O. #1220 in title only. ALLOWENCE OF BILLS AND CLAIMS Council Member Jim Dazey presented bills and claim numbers 66692 through 66817 for $773,976.61 for approval. Council Member Jim Dazey made a motion to approve the bills and claims with a second by Council Member Amy Ballard. The motion passed 5 ayes-0 nays.
