COMMUNICATIONS BY CONSENT
(For Approval)
1. Application and Permit for Use of Borough Property received December 2, 2019, requesting
use of Waterfront Park gazebo for a wedding ceremony to be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020
at 3:30PM.
2. Email from Nancy Jones dated December 8, 2019, requesting the following regarding the
KeyportFest 5K:
o Request to hold the 5K on Saturday, September 26, 2020;
o Use of the Waterfront Park gazebo for race check-in;
o Set up will begin at 5:30AM on race day. Runners begin check in at 7AM and race
begins at 8:30AM. The event should conclude by approximately 10:30AM;
o Electricity turned on at the gazebo and at the cross walk near Burlew’s Restaurant
on race day;
o Use of satellite speakers for the start of the race on W. Front Street;
o Police assistance with traffic control;
o Ten tables, ten folding chairs, six picnic tables, several garbage and recycling cans
from DPW;
o Assistance by DPW for transporting race t-shirts, trophies and race materials from
Borough Hall to the gazebo on race day morning;
o Use of Borough Hall vestibule to hold pre-race packet and t-shirt pick up on Friday,
September 25, 2020 between 2PM and 8PM;
o Two tables and four chairs for set up in the vestibule;
o Secure place to store race t-shirts and other race materials from Friday at 8PM until
Saturday at 6AM.
