Village of Kohler Finance Committee Meeting June 9, 2025 Chairperson John Ewert called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken: John Ewert, Tracy Lyons and Laurie Lindow were present. Staff members present: Shawn Splivalo and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approval of May 12, 2025, Meeting Minutes – Motion by John Ewert, second by Tracy Lyons to approve the May 12, 2025, meeting minutes. Motion carried. Business 1. Review and Approve May Claims Lists – Motion by John Ewert, second by Tracy Lyons to approve the May Claims Lists. Motion carried. 2. Review and Recommend: a) Temporary Class B Beer License for Kohler Fire Department for July 5, 2025 – Motion by Tracy Lyons, second by Laurie Lindow to recommend the Village Board approve a temporary Class B Beer license for Kohler Fire Department for July 5, 2025. Motion carried. b) May Revenue & Expense Reports, Bank Reconciliation and Journal Entries – Motion by John Ewert, second by Laurie Lindow to recommend the Village Board approve the May Revenue & Expense reports, bank reconciliation and journal entries. Motion carried. c) Police Department Update – Shawn provided an update: • Officer Porter graduated from the academy and is in the second of three phases of training • Lieutenant Gross graduated from command college. • Squad modems and rifles have been delivered. • Officer Moman is being deployed this month. Part-time Officer Mirelles has been working and Officer Schoch will be out of CRO duties for the summer.
