Planning Commission

Village of Kohler Planning Commission Meeting December 19, 2024 Chairperson Thomas Schnettler called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. Roll call was taken: Tom Schnettler, Lee Gumm, Mike Zimmermann (by phone), and Mike Wandschneider were present. Jay Hoekstra, Paul Bonack and Thomas Kramer were absent. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow and Laurie Lindow. Approval of Meeting Minutes from November 14, 2024 – Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by Lee Gumm to approve the meeting minutes from November 14, 2024. Motion carried. Business 1. Discuss and take action on a building permit for the following lots in The Clearings Subdivision: a. Lot 8 b. Lot 9 c. Lot 10 d. Lot 12 e. Lot 15 f. Lot 17 g. Lot 18 h. Lot 19 i. Lot 20 j. Lot 21 k. Lot 22 John Searls of Jodi Development is proposing the building of eleven homes on the remaining lots on the west side of Meadow Circle East and the east side of Meadow Circle West. There are six existing homes in this section of The Clearings. Mike Kitzerow informed the commission that the site plans meet setbacks, coverage and zoning codes and recommends the proposal is approved. Motion by Tom Schnettler, second by Lee Gumm to approve building permits for the proposed building of eleven homes on Lot 8, Lot 9, Lot 10, Lot 12, Lot 15, Lot 17, Lot 18, Lot 19, Lot 20, Lot 21 and Lot 22.
