Village of Kohler Property Committee Meeting September 11, 2023 Chairperson Jason Kwacz called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken: Jason Kwacz, John Winter and Mike Zimmermann were present. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approval of Meeting Minutes from August 14, 2023 - Motion by John Winter, second by Mike Zimmermann to approve the meeting minutes from August 14, 2023. Motion carried. Business 1. Discuss Issues at Sunset Lift Station – Mike updated the committee on the problems at the lift station this summer. The original pumps were rebuilt about 18 years ago. One of the pumps was not working. Total of $18,000 for repairs from the sewer budget. 3. Discuss Lost Woods Park Phase I – Excel surveyed the park. Phase I work to be completed this fall includes: ball diamond grading and drainage; hill removal; new bleachers and benches; scoreboard. There was $100,000 included in the budget. Motion by Jason Kwacz, second by John Winter to recommend the Village Board approve an amount not to exceed $30,000 for Lost Woods Park Phase I work to be completed this fall. Motion carried.
