Village of Kohler Property Committee February 12, 2024 Chairperson Jason Kwacz called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken: Jason Kwacz, Mike Zimmermann and John Winter were present. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approval of Meeting Minutes from January 8, 2024 – Motion by Mike Zimmermann, second by John Winter to approve the meeting minutes from January 8, 2024. Motion carried. Business 1. Review and Recommend Purchasing Two Water Fountains from Most Dependable Fountains, Inc. for $7,795 – budget for this item is $9,500. Motion by Jason Kwacz, second by John Winter to recommend the Village Board approve purchasing two water fountains from Most Dependable Fountains, Inc. for $7,795. The committee requested that Mike contact the company to ask for a discount on the shipping cost. Motion by John Winter, second by Mike Zimmermann to amend the motion for the purchase amount not to exceed $7,795. A voice vote was take on the amendment. Motion carried on amendment. A voice vote was taken on the motion as amended. Motion carried. 2. Review and Recommend Purchasing Swing from MWP Recreation for $7,840.38 – budget for this item is $10,000. Motion by Jason Kwacz, second by John Winter to recommend the Village Board approve purchasing swings from MWP Recreation for an amount not to exceed $7,840.38. Motion carried. 3. Review and Recommend Quote from Specht Electric for Fenwood PLC Upgrades for $22,985 – there is $33,000 included in the sewer budget for this project. Motion by Jason Kwacz, second by Mike Zimmermann to recommend the Village Board approve the quote from Specht Electric for Fenwood PLC upgrades for an amount not to exceed $22,985. Motion carried. 4. Update on Pool Project – the project is on schedule. The ceiling is completed.
