Village of Kohler Property Committee April 8, 2024 In the absence of Chairperson Jason Kwacz, John Winter called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Roll call was taken: Mike Zimmermann and John Winter were present. Jason Kwacz was absent. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow, Gary Lindow, John Willadsen and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approval of Meeting Minutes from March 11, 2024 – Motion by Mike Zimmermann, second by John Winter to approve the meeting minutes from March 11, 2024. Motion carried. Business 1. Review and Recommend Reimbursing Michael & Mary Ellen Pellegrino, 625 Woodlake Road, Cost for Changing Address Stone – Woodlake Road contains two different blocks of 200 addresses. Letters were sent to four residents whose house numbers were changed to 600 addresses. A request was received from Pellegrinos requesting the village pay the cost for replacing their address stone. Motion by John Winter, second by Mike Zimmermann to recommend the Village Board approve reimbursing Michael and Mary Ellen Pellegrino, 625 Woodlake Road, $838.45 for replacing their address stone. Motion carried. 2. Review and Recommend Replacement of Card Access System for Memorial Building – Motion by John Winter, second by Mike Zimmermann to recommend the Village Board approve the quote from Specht Electric for $5,725 to replace the card access system at the Memorial Building using AARPA funds. Motion carried. 3. Review and Recommend Youth Center Wages – John Willadsen requested to table this item for the 2025 budget discussion. 4. Review and Recommend Funding for Fire Department Safety Program Initiative – Gary Lindow presented a request to have Fehr Graham develop a safety program for the Fire Department. AARPA funds will be used for the 2024 cost. Future costs will be included in the Fire Department annual budget. Motion by John Winter, second by Mike Zimmermann to recommend the Village Board approve the quote from Fehr Graham to develop a safety program for the Fire Department, cost $6,000. Motion carried. 5. Review and Recommend Ordinance 2024-9, An Ordinance Amending Section 18.04.020 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Kohler, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, Annual Industrial Building Permit – Motion by John Winter, second by  Mike Zimmermann to recommend the Village Board approve Ordinance 2024-9, An Ordinance Amending Section 18.04.020 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Kohler, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, Annual Industrial Building Permit. Motion carried. 6. Discuss Woodland Road Signage, Paving and Pedestrian Paths – this item was tabled. 7. Update on Pool Project – the floor tile will be finished next week.
