Village of Kohler Property Committee Meeting September 8, 2025 Chairperson Michael Wandschneider called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. Roll call was taken: Michael Wandschneider, Brett Edgerle and Kelly Kasten were present. Staff members present: Mike Kitzerow, Gary Lindow, John Willadsen and Cindi Gamb. Public Comment – none. Approve Meeting Minutes from August 11, 2025 – Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Kelly Kasten to approve the meeting minutes from August 11, 2025. Motion carried. Business 1. Review and Recommend: a) Proposed 2026 Fire Department Budget and Capital Outlay – Gary presented the fire department budget and capital outlay. Capital outlay includes $55,000 for hydraulic rescue tools and a thermal imaging camera. Motion by Brett Edgerle, second by Kelly Kasten to recommend the Village Board approve the 2026 Fire Department budget and capital outlay with the amendment to change capital outlay to $55,000. Motion carried. b) Proposed 2026 Recreation Department Budget – John presented the Recreation Department budget. Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by Brett Edgerle to recommend the Village Board approve the 2026 Recreation Department budget with the amendment to change swimming pool revenue to $30,000. Motion carried. c) Proposed 2026 Department of Public Works Budget and Capital Outlay – Mike presented the Department of Public Works budget and capital outlay. The $160,000 included in capital outlay for Woodland Road paving will be paid by sales tax revenue received from Sheboygan County. Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by Brett Edgerle to recommend the Village Board approve the 2026 Department of Public Works budget and capital outlay with amendments to the wages, adding $6,500 to capital outlay for a brush cutter and $20,000 for Ravine Park storm line. Motion carried. d) Proposed 2026 Water and Sewer Utility Budgets and Capital Outlay – Mike presented the water and sewer utility budgets and capital outlay. Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by Brett Edgerle to recommend the Village Board approve the 2026 Water Utility budget and capital outlay with the amendment to wages. Motion carried.  Motion by Mike Wandschneider, second by Kelly Kasten to recommend the Village Board approve the 2026 Sewer Utility budget and capital outlay with the amendment to wages.
