Village of Kohler Special Village Board Meeting April 22, 2024 Chairperson Thomas Schnettler called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken: Tom Schnettler, Mike Zimmermann, John Ewert, Michael Wandschneider, Brett Edgerle, Kelly Kasten and Tracy Lyons were present. Staff members present: Shawn Splivalo and Laurie Lindow. Items of concern Regarding the Agenda, Including Public Comment – None. Business 1. Village Board and standing committee organization and appointments to Special Committees – The list of proposed appointments was sent out to Village Board members prior to the meeting and Tom Schnettler received no feedback on the appointments. Motion by John Ewert, second by Michael Wandschneider to approve the appointments as presented. Kelly Kasten asked about how appointments were selected. Tom Schnettler explained that the makeup of the standing committees is based on experience and seniority. Committee appointments are approved annually. A roll call vote was taken: Mike Zimmermann – aye, John Ewert – aye, Michael Wandschneider – aye, Brett Edgerle – aye, Kelly Kasten – aye, Tracy Lyons – aye, Tom Schnettler – aye. Motion carried.
