COMMERCIAL AVE., LA FERIA, TX 78559 TUESDAY, July 28, 2020 AT 12:00 NOON AGENDA In accordance with the Order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, the City of La Feria will conduct the meeting and provide audio/telephonic availability for the public using live stream in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face-to-face meetings (also called “social distancing”) to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (also known as Covid-19). The Civil service commission will then call you when the item you wish to address is being considered. You will then address the civil service commission through the speakerphone, and your call will be mad audible to the City Commission and to the public through the live stream. Discussion and possible action to approve selection of Schneider Electric for an Investment Grade Audit (IGA) through The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), a cooperative purchasing program. 9. Consideration and possible action on Ordinance 2020-08 approving a negotiated resolution between the City of La Feria and Texas Gas Service regarding the company’s cost of service adjustment filing. 10. Consideration and possible action on Resolution 2020-09 authorizing that a designated officer or employee calculate the voter-approval tax rate for tax year 2020 in the manner provided for a special taxing unit. 11. Consideration and action to authorize City Staff to solicit requests for qualifications on behalf of the City for the operation, maintenance, and management of the water and wastewater treatment facilities and lift stations for the City of La Feria. 12.
