CALL TO ORDER T Acting Chair Dean Trefethen called the meeting to order at 2:03 PM 2. ROLL CALL F Members present: Tara Baker, Assessing; Al Graton, Police; Dean Trefethen, Planning/Zoning/Code; Charlie Roffo, Fire; Ben Crawford, Water A Absent: Wes Anderson, DPW 3. RECORDING SECRETARY R Kalena Graham 4. STAFF IN ATTENDANCE 5. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS D 5.I. Acceptance Of Minutes From November 16 With not objections, the minutes were declared accepted. 6. CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARINGS, CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE VOTE Note: The Purpose Of This Agenda Section Is For The Board To Continue The Public Hearing For The Applicant And The Public To Provide Input. The Board May Also Deliberate The Application, Decide And Conduct A Final Vote At This Time. 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS, POSSIBLE CONSIDERATION AND VOTE Note: The Purpose Of This Agenda Section Is For The Board To Have A Presentation From The Applicant And Open A Public Hearing For The Public To Provide Input. The Board May Also Deliberate The Application, Decide And Conduct A Final Vote At This Time. 7.I. PL2021-0143MSP; 49 Mechanic Street, Cantin; Proposal To Construct A 35x70 Single Story Storage Building Applicant: Tom Cantin was present and explained the application. Proposed is a 35 x 70 building for parts storage. The building will be wide open with large overhead door. Wood construction with three- foot-high concrete walls. No vehicles stored, only parts. No offices will be in the building, just parts. The building will be located where 12 existing parking spots are currently, but with the addition of 42 parking spaces across the street recently constructed, there shouldn’t be an issue. The applicant will slope the swale as DPW requested. There will only be lights and heat, not water and no drains. The heat will be forced hot air and no ducts, fueled with natural gas. Mechanical permit will be needed through the fire dept. BPS will be the general construction manager and Lyman will do the site work. The public hearing closed at 2:07 PM Motion to approve the application with the conditions from DPW made by C. Roffo, A. Graton seconded. All voted in favor. T 8. OTHER BUSINESS 9.
