BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY MINUTES August 12, 2025 Regular Session: The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Common Council Chambers. Members present were: Gary Henriott, Cindy Murray, Amy Moulton, Eric Rody and Ron Shriner Jacque Chosnek, City Attorney, was present. President Henriott called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag of our Country. MINUTES Mrs. Moulton moved for approval of the minutes from the August 5, 2025 regular meeting. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed. OLD BUSINESS Special Event Request-Back to School Celebration & Health Fair (Tabled 8/5/2025) Mr. Rody moved to remove this item from the Table. Mr. Shriner seconded. Removed. Paula Davis, Event Representative, presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Special Event Request for the Back-to- School Celebration & Health Fair to be held on September 13, 2025 from 11:00am-3:00pm located on Alabama Street between 5th and 6th Streets. Mr. Rody moved for approval. Mr. Shriner seconded. Passed. CLAIMS Jeremy Diehl, Controller, presented for Board approval of Claims in the amount of $6,755,947.48 President Henriott asked if there were any further questions and there were none. Mr. Rody moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed. MISCELLANEOUS Amendment #2-Columbia Street Banner Application Mrs. Murray presented to the Board and recommended approval of Amendment #2 of the Columbia Street Banner Application. This amendment changes the application to only include Not-For Profit organizations starting January 1, 2026. Mrs. Moulton moved for approval. Mr. Rody seconded. Passed. Special Event Request-German Fest Michelle Ford, Event Representative, presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Special Event Request for German Fest to be held on September 6, 2025 from 4:00pm-11:00pm located on Ferry Street, 8th Street, 9th Street and North Street surrounding St. Boniface Church. Mr. Shriner moved for approval. Mr. Rody seconded. Passed.
