BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY MINUTES August 19, 2025 Regular Session: The Board of Public Works and Safety met in regular session on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in the Common Council Chambers. Members present were: Gary Henriott, Cindy Murray, Amy Moulton, Eric Rody and Ron Shriner Jacque Chosnek, City Attorney, was present. President Henriott called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the flag of our Country. MINUTES Mrs. Moulton moved for approval of the minutes from the August 12, 2025 regular meeting. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed. BID OPENING Microsoft Software Licensing 2025 This being the time set to open bids for the Board of Public Works and Safety for the Microsoft Software Licensing 2025 the following bids were received and opened: CDW Government LLC Vernon Hills, Illinois 3-Year Grand Total: $885,149.82 Softchoice Corporation Maryland Heights, Missouri 3-Year Grand Total: $825,080.29 Mr. Shriner moved to take the bids under advisement for further review. Mr. Rody seconded. Passed. NEW BUSINESS Purchasing Declaration of Surplus Property-Lafayette Fire Department Dave Payne, Purchasing Director, presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Declaration of Surplus Property for the Lafayette Fire Department that includes a 1998 Kohler Stationary Generator Model# 40R0ZJ81 Serial# 377002. Mr. Payne stated that this item has been replaced and will be listed for sale on GovDeals.com. Mr. Rody moved for approval. Mrs. Moulton seconded. Passed. Board of Public Works and Safety August 19, 2025 Page 2 Declaration of Worthless Property-Lafayette Renew Mr. Payne presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Declaration of Worthless Property for Lafayette Renew that includes a #1 Ferric Pump Model: Watson Marlow 630 UN/RE 060.914N.E2A Serial# 190204-218789. Mr. Payne stated that this item is no longer functioning and will be scrapped. Mr. Rody moved for approval. Mr. Shriner seconded. Passed. CLAIMS Jeremy Diehl, Controller, presented for Board approval of Claims in the amount of $3,665,073.43. President Henriott asked if there were any further questions and there were none. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mr. Rody seconded. Passed. MISCELLANEOUS Special Event Request-Hands on Transportation President Henriott presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Special Event Request for Hands on Transportation to be held on September 20, 2025 from 7:30am-1:30pm located on 4th Street from Wall Street to Cincinnati Street and Cincinnati Street from 3rd Street to 4th Street. Mrs. Moulton moved for approval. Mrs. Murray seconded. Passed.
