Mrs. Weston seconded. Motion Carried. NEW BUSINESS Discussion on Road Salt Rick Morrissey stated that the State of Indiana will be sending an invitation out on road salt for the State Bid. Mr. Morrissey has contemplated whether or not to go back to the sealed bid process within the Joint Purchasing Board instead of going with the State Bid. Mayor Roswarski wanted to wait to discuss any changes when Mr. Murtaugh was present. Mr. Morrissey stated that the Board would need to make a decision before May 2014 as to which way they would bid road salt. Mr. Morrissey stated that he would look into what prices other cities are getting going with a sealed bid versus the State Bid. Discussion ensued regarding the salt shortage from this past winter. PUBLIC COMMENT There was none. With no further business to come before the Board, Mrs. Weston moved to adjourn. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried.
