JOINT PURCHASING BOARD November 13, 2017 The Joint Purchasing Board met on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Board of Public Works and Safety Room, 20 North 6th Street, Lafayette City Hall. Present were: Mayor Roswarski, Tom Murtaugh, Cindy Murray and Bob Plantenga Also present were: Dave Payne, City of Lafayette Purchasing Agent President Roswarski called the meeting to order. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Mr. Plantenga moved for approval of the minutes from the March 27, 2017 meeting. Mrs. Murray seconded. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Mayor Roswarski announced that Dave Payne will be taking Rick Morrissey’s position as Purchasing Manager. Permission to Advertise-Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix --Tentative Date for First Publication 11/24/2017 Mr. Payne presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Gravel, Sand, Limestone & Soils + Ready Mix. Mr. Murtaugh moved for approval. Mr. Plantenga seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Asphalt and Bituminous-Coated Aggregate --Tentative Date for First Publication 2/16/2018 Mr. Payne presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for the Asphalt and Bituminous –Coated Aggregate. Mrs. Murray moved for approval. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion Carried. Permission to Advertise-Road Salt (Battleground, Shadeland, W. Lafayette) --Tentative Date for First Publication 4/13/2018 Mr. Payne presented to the Board and recommended approval of a Permission to Advertise for Road Salt. Mr. Plantenga moved for approval. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion Carried. PUBLIC COMMENT With no further business to come before the Board, Mrs. Murray moved to adjourn. Mr. Murtaugh seconded. Motion carried.
