August 2 was the final Art in the Park, with the theme, Jazz Night at Armstrong Park, with attendance around 400. The lower attendance could be attributable to other events held that night, such as; the City Employee Appreciation Night and Aviator’s National Night Out. There will be a Fall Community Movie Night on October 7. Movie, TBA. Ms. Haville then provided a social media update. All platforms showed year over year increases. • Superintendent Laufman shared that an agreement has been entered with Keystone Architecture to design a restroom building for McCaw Park. In other project updates; work continues at the Columbian Park Restroom building without a firm completion date. At the Cat Park All-Inclusive Field, the seat wall is up and progress is being made. However, there is still some grading to be done. • Director of Operations Miner provided a late season aquatics update. All pools showed higher average daily attendance over last year.
