Welcome and Call to Order
James Foster welcomed everyone to the Redevelopment Commission meeting, noted that a quorum was present and
opened the meeting of the Lafayette Redevelopment Commission at 11:00am.
Minutes
Frank Donaldson moved to approve the minutes ofthe May 25, 2023 meeting. Jim Terry seconded and the motion
passed unanimously.
Frank Donaldson moved to approve the minutes of the June 14, 2023 special meeting. Jim Terry seconded and the
motion passed unanimously.
New Business
HWC Engineering: Main Street Streetscape Phase 5 & 6 Amendment #5 Survey and Drainage Improvements-During
field observations for next phase of the Main Street Streetscape, the need was identified for some additional drainage
improvement just north of the project line/Ferry Street. Significant ponding of water is a regular occurrence around
the alley entrance between O'Rears Bakery and the Marathon Gas Station. This amendment with a lump sum not to
exceed $16,500.00, is for survey and design engineering to address the problem for later construction during the
proposed Main Street Streetscape Phase 5&6. Jim Terry made a motion to approve. Shelly Henriott seconded and the
motion passed unanimously.
Tax Abatement Compliance
A handful of companies filed tax abatement compliance extensions. Staff reviewed the compliance documents
submitted and recommends substantial compliance for the following companies:
Arconic US, LLC-RE
Arconic US, LLC-PP (2)
Jim Terry moved for recommendation to approve. Shelly Henriott seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Caterpillar Logistics, Inc.-PP
Jim Terry moved for recommendation to approve. Shelly Henriott seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

Frank Donaldson moved for recommendation to approve. Jim Terry seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Lafayette Redevelopment Commission Annual Report - Baker Tilly Municipal Advisors: House Enrolled Act 1242,
passed during the 2018 General Assembly Session, requires redevelopment commissions to hold an annual meeting
and provide certain information for the benefit of the public and other taxing units that overlap allocation areas (for
specific details see Section 321C 36-7-25-8 of the Indiana Code). Greg Balsano and Julia Denkman of Baker Tilly
Municipal Advisors provided the annual report ofthe TIF districts and activities. All affected underlying taxing districts
were invited to attend the meeting presentation and provide any comments. No comments were received.
Director's Report
Streetscape Phase VII is continuing.
Renovation on the 5th Street parking garage is due to begin this week.
MKSK is identifying possible opportunities for infill development and activation of public spaces in the downtown area.

Jim Terry moved to approve the J 23 claims in the amount of Three Million One Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand
Thirteen Dollars and Twenty-Eight Cents ($3,125,013.28). Shelly Henriott seconded and the motion passed unanimously.

Jim Terry moved to adjourn the meeting. Shelly Henriott seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The meeting of
the Lafayette Redevelopment Commission was adjourned at 11:27am.
