APPROVED VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE FEBRUARY 26, 2007 The meeting was called to order at 9:30 p.m. ROLL CALL: Present –Mayor Tolomei, Trustees Bondi, Callahan, Coleman, Gyarmaty, and Taylor. Excused – Trustee McAvoy. Also present – Administrator Dixon, Village Attorney Browne, Finance Director Martynowicz, Police Chief Urry, Fire Chief Mastandrea, Park and Recreation Director Perkins, Public Works Director/Engineer Heyden, and Village Planner Gadde. APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 12, 2007 MINUTES: MOTION made by Trustee Gyarmaty, seconded by Trustee Bondi, to approve the minutes of the February 12, 2007 Committee of the Whole as submitted. Voice vote, all in favor. MOTION CARRIED. CONSIDERATION OF SIGN PANELS ON CONSTRUCTION FENCE AT PHASE I, GRANDVIEW BUILDING SITE Administrator Dixon provided an update on the sign panels and construction fence at the Grandview Building site. Information has been sent to McCaffery Interests indicating the preference of pictures of the promenade and suggested activities that could be displayed on the panels. Trustee Taylor asked that they give consideration to local businesses when hiring vendors and did not think pictures of the promenade should face the promenade. Mayor Tolomei said the Committee of the Whole has indicated in the past their desire to see more local sites and activities depicted on the panels. The proposed panels should brought before the Committee of the Whole again for review. MOTION made by Trustee Callahan, seconded by Trustee Bondi, to recommend the Board of Trustees allow the use of similar types of sign on the construction fencing for Phase I of the Grandview Building site. AYES: 5 Trustees Bondi, Callahan, Coleman, Gyarmaty, and Taylor NAYS: 0 MOTION CARRIED ADJOURNMENT: MOTION made by Trustee Bondi, seconded by Trustee Coleman, to adjourn the meeting.
