COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG December 8, 2016 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Council Member Williams, Mayor Durham, Council Member Moore and Council Member Sevier. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order by Mayor Durham. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the November 23, 2016 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Williams second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. Mayor Durham announced the Christmas Parade will be held this Saturday, due to the cancellation last week. City Administrator announced the Retirement Reception for Terry Gray at 1:00 pm on the 15th of December to be followed by the Swearing in Ceremony for the newly re-elected officials at 1:30 p.m. The LUS Financials for October 2016 were accepted. Chris Shaffer announced three new employees: Justin Johns, Frank Campbell, and Matthew Langsford. A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE, UPDATE AND KEEP CURRENT THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG ADA COMPLIANCE PLAN Motion to approve was made by Council Member Moore with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO AUTHORIZE THE LAWRENCE COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO APPLY FOR A TOURISM GRANT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG Motion to approve was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore with a second by Council Member Fox. Meeting adjourned.
