COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG February 8, 2018 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Council Member Sevier, Council Member Williams and Council Member Moore. Mayor Durham was absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the January 25, 2018 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. City offices will be closed on February 19 in honor of Presidents’ Day. City Administrator, Chris Shaffer, congratulated Jeremy Methvin on his promotion to Captain and Brian Hagan’s promotion to Lieutenant. We also have two new hires Phillip Geber and William Ben McDow. ORDINANCE NO. 1223 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 8, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 8-110 OF THE LAWRENCEBURG MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND ORDINANCE 1203 Special Event Permits – Second and Final Reading Motion to approve was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously ORDINANCE NO. 1224 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1207 ENTITLED BUDGET APPRO PRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2017-2018 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT. – Second and Final Reading Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. RESOLUTION(S) RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PILOT (PAYMENT-IN-LIEU-OF-TAX) LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG AND CABINETS TO GO and F9 PROPERTIES, LLC Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. (TABLED) A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ATTACHED LIST OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS BY THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG DURING THE 2017-2018 FISCAL YEAR Motion to approve was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier; after discussion a motion was made by Council Member Fox to table the resolution, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed, the Resolution was tabled. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Fox. Meeting adjourned.
