COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG March 22, 2018 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Fox, Council Member Sevier, and Council Member Williams. Council Member Moore and Mayor Durham were absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the March 8, 2018 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Sevier, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. Anne Alford addressed the Council concerning the creation of a Community Band. There are now 17 members and they are looking for additional members and a venue to perform. The Council is supportive and City Administrator will work to help accommodate the band with venues. A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO AUTHORIZE THE LAWRENCEBURG FIRE DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE AN F800 FORD DIESEL TRUCK WITH A 450 HALE PUMP 1800 GALLON TANK Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO DECLARE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT ACQUIRED THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE AS SURPLUS TO DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG PURCHASING POLICY Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO DECLARE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AS SURPLUS TO BE SOLD AT AUCTION ON THE WEB Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Meeting adjourned.
