COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG February 24, 2022 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Sevier, Mayor Lay, Council Member Williams and Council Member Fox. Council Member Moore was absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2022 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Williams with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. PUBLIC HEARING on ORDINANCE NUMBER 1330, opened and with no one wishing to address the Council, the hearing closed. ORDINANCE(S) ORDINANCE NO. 1330 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NUMBER 789 ENTITLED THE “ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE” Second Reading – Kenneth S. Hill Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Council Member Sevier, with a second by Council Member Fox. Motion passed unanimously. ORDINANCE NUMBER 1331 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 8, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 8-110 OF THE LAWRENCEBURG MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES – First Reading Motion to approve on first reading was made by Council Member Williams, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. RESOLUTION(S) A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG TO SUPPORT RESTORING THE HISTORIC REVENUE SHARING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE AND ITS LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND TO RETURN THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE SINGLE ARTICLE CAP TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL TO ACCEPT AND ENTER INTO THE 2022 LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH THE TENNESSEE MAIN STREET PROGRAM Motion to approve was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Fox, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed.
