COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG March 10, 2022 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Sevier, Mayor Lay, Council Member Williams and Council Member Moore. Council Member Fox was absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the February 24, 2022 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Williams with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. LUS Financials for January, 2022 were accepted. ORDINANCE(S) ORDINANCE NUMBER 1331 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 8, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 8-110 OF THE LAWRENCEBURG MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES – Second Reading Motion to approve on final reading was made by Council Member Seviers, with a second by Council Member Williams. Motion passed unanimously. RESOLUTION(S) RESOLUTION(S) A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO APPOINT JOSH DUKE AS LAWRENCEBURG’S REPRESENTATIVE ON THE LAWRENCE COUNTY EQUALIZATION BOARD Motion to approve was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH STEVE HILL, DAWN HILL AND HEATH HILL Motion to approve was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed unanimously. With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed.
