COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG June 9, 2022 The Board of Mayor and Council met in regular session. The following members were present: Council Member Sevier, and Council Member Williams. and Council Member Moore. Council Member Fox and Mayor Lay were absent. With a quorum present the meeting was called to order. The meeting opened with Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Motion to approve the minutes of the May 26, 2022 Council Meeting was made by Council Member Sevier a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed unanimously. City Offices closed for Juneteenth and July 4, with residential trash being picked up on Thursday, following the holidays. LUS Financials for April, 2022 were accepted. ORDINANCE(S) ORDINANCE NO. 1337 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO 1090 ENTITLED THE “PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS” OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, AND TO AMEND SECTION V, - BENEFITS; B. HOLIDAYS – Second Reading Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed ORDINANCE NO. 1338 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1317 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE GENERAL FUND – Second Reading Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed ORDINANCE NO. 1339 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1317 ENTITLED BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS OF REVENUE AND EXPENDITURES FOR THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE SANITATION FUND – Second Reading Motion to approve on second and final reading was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed RESOLUTION(S) A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG, TENNESSEE, TO APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF A 2022 FORD F150 RESPONDER 4WD PICKUP FROM FORD OF MURFREESBORO THROUGH STATE CONTRACT - 000072320 Motion to approve was made by Council Member Sevier, with a second by Council Member Moore. Motion passed A RESOLUTION FOR THE BOARD OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH COLLIER ENGINEERING COMPANY INC. TO DESIGN A MASTER PLAN FOR THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG PARKS Motion to approve was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed With no further business to come before the board motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Moore, with a second by Council Member Sevier. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned.
